Location: Ideal candidate will reside in the Miami or Fort Lauderdale area.

Position Overview
The Market Manager – South Florida is responsible for driving sales, distribution, and brand execution throughout the market, with a primary focus on on-premise and independent retail accounts. This is a highly field-focused position requiring extensive work both independently and alongside our distributor network to develop key accounts, expand distribution, grow volume, and build the Hope Family Wines portfolio.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with distributor sales teams on a weekly basis to execute sales, distribution, and brand-building initiatives, with a primary focus on on-premise and independent retail accounts.
• Identify and develop new account opportunities while growing distribution and volume within existing accounts.
• Spend three to four days per week in the field selling independently and with distributor teams, with remaining time dedicated to distributor meetings, planning, and administrative responsibilities.
• Build strong relationships with key buyers, beverage directors, sommeliers, restaurant operators, independent retailers, and other influential members of the trade.
• Educate distributor personnel and customers on the HFW portfolio, brand positioning, and selling priorities.
• Conduct regular presentations, tastings, and sales training meetings with distributor teams and key customers.
• Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to establish market priorities and monitor distributor execution against HFW sales and distribution goals.
• Execute and support local market programs, events, wine dinners, tastings, and other brand-building activities.
• Monitor competitive activity, market conditions, and account trends and communicate opportunities and recommended action plans.
• Ensure HFW programming, merchandising, and POS materials are effectively executed within appropriate accounts.

Performance Measures
• Volume & Distribution: Meet or exceed established volume, distribution, and accounts-sold objectives.
• Account Development: Consistently develop new placements while expanding the HFW portfolio within existing accounts.
• Market Execution: Effectively execute HFW brand priorities, programs, and standards throughout the market.
• Distributor Partnership: Build productive relationships with distributor sales teams that drive execution and sales performance.
• Results Orientation: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and drive to achieve results.

Personal Skills & Qualifications
• 4+ years of wine or beverage alcohol sales experience, preferably with a supplier or distributor, with strong knowledge of the South Florida on-premise and independent retail market.
• Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of the wine and beverage alcohol industry, preferably with experience in on-premise and/or independent retail sales.
• Established relationships within the South Florida wine and hospitality community are highly desirable.
• Strong sales ability with a proven ability to develop accounts, build relationships, and close new placements.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• High level of integrity, confidence, and accountability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the South Florida market.
