Position: Senior Blue Yonder Data Integration Engineer/Consultant Location: Hybrid at Dallas, TX Duration: Longterm Job Description :: A strong Data Integrator with Blue Yonder (formerly JDA Software) experience is a highly specialized technical role focused on connecting, configuring, and maintaining Blue Yonder supply chain solutions (WMS, TMS, Demand) with ERPs, legacy systems, and third‑party partners. These professionals are in high demand for their ability to ensure seamless data flow, often using MOCA (Matrix Optimized Component Architecture), SQL, and EDI/API technologies. Below is a detailed breakdown of the skills, responsibilities, and qualifications for a Senior Blue Yonder Data Integration Engineer/Consultant. Key Responsibilities System Integration: Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Blue Yonder WMS/TMS and external systems (e.g., SAP ERP, warehouse automation, shipping carriers). Data Mapping & Transformation: Define, map, and transform data entities to ensure data consistency between Blue Yonder and legacy systems. MOCA Development: Use MOCA commands to customize and optimize Blue Yonder WMS functionalities. API/EDI Management: Configure and manage RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, and EDI integrations for real-time visibility and transaction processing. Technical Support & Tuning: Perform SQL tuning, database monitoring, and troubleshooting to resolve performance bottlenecks. Implementation & Upgrades: Lead technical aspects of Blue Yonder upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Technical Skills Required Blue Yonder Modules: Expert knowledge of Blue Yonder/JDA WMS, TMS, Dispatcher, or Demand. Technical Toolkit: SQL: Expert level (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL). MOCA & Java: Deep understanding of the Blue Yonder WMS framework. Integration Middleware: Familiarity with tools like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or JDA Integrator. API/EDI: Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and EDI standards. Data Technologies: ETL processes, data mapping, and database management.
