Our client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and scale data infrastructure supporting investment strategies. The role involves collaborating with various teams to manage and govern data across a complex environment. The position requires strong experience with data modeling, pipelines, and data governance practices.

Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing data models for analytics, reporting, and operations. Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data. Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data reliability. Collaborate to understand data requirements and deliver accessible datasets. Optimize query performance and storage costs across the data platform.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field. Seven years of experience in data engineering and production data pipelines. Experience in financial markets data domain. Advanced skills in data modeling and proficiency in a programming language. Experience with orchestration tools and cloud services.

Core technologies include SQL, Python, data processing frameworks, orchestration tools, cloud services, data transformation tools, and version-controlled analytics workflows.
