Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design and development of critical electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical sub-systems, including wire harnesses, controls, and switches. Provide daily mentorship and strategic guidance to a dedicated technical design team of three direct reports. Partner closely with our Engineering Test Lab to define, coordinate, and document rigorous testing procedures for new components. Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical engineers and manufacturing teams to support pilot builds and ensure seamless integration on the production line. Manage complex production part information and oversee Engineering Change Notifications to keep our high-volume manufacturing running smoothly. Qualifications An Associate's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Electro-Mechanical Technology, though a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. At least five years of hands‑on experience in electrical or electronics design, specifically with harness design, controls, and switch selection. Strong proficiency using AutoCAD to generate complex electrical systems and schematics. Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of successfully overseeing projects or guiding team members. A background in high-volume manufacturing environments or related heavy industrial sectors like industrial machinery or paper manufacturing.
