What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Active New York State medical license
• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (no BEs, please)
• DEA license
• Proven clinical skills in OB/GYN practices
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage a busy patient load with professionalism and compassion

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EMR systems, specifically eClinicalWorks
• Onsite ultrasound proficiency
• Prior experience supporting delivery centers and working with midwives
• Flexibility with shift schedules and call duties

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of OB/GYN residency program
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting
• Familiarity with managing a patient population of teenagers and adults

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to support at least 3-4 weeks per month of coverage
• Ability to work a 24-hour hospital call shift (not pager, provider must be onsite)
• Onsite accommodations available during call hours
• Local_candidate preferred to minimize travel expenses and maximize patient continuity
