Role Overview We are looking for a Product Operations Engineer to act as the operational backbone of our product organization, working directly with the CTO and Head of Product. This role is for a high‑output technical individual contributor who loves discipline, structure, and execution. At HappyRobot, you will sit at the critical intersection of Product Engineering, Deployments, Go‑To‑Market, and Operations. You’ll be a generalist execution machine, solving the most important problems that block our velocity – whether that means refining data pipelines, structuring pricing models, or managing complex deployment logistics. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary link between the Product Engineering team and the Deployment team, enabling new features, overseeing technical feedback from the field, and ensuring successful releases. Partner with GTM to drive technical enablement, support Product‑Led Sales motions, and refine feature pricing structures. Work with Engineering and Strategy & Ops to define and track product and company metrics, handling raw data to optimize outcomes. Manage the human element of our agentic stack across voice, reasoning, and coding agents, coordinating in‑house labelers and external agencies for high‑quality training data throughput. Who You Are A Technical Operator with strong technical literacy (APIs, data structures, engineering constraints) and operational rigor, fixing broken processes. A Cross‑Functional Translator who can speak engineers, salespeople, and operations managers, aligning teams toward a single objective. Disciplined & systems‑oriented, enjoying order and building documentation, dashboards, and automation to prevent future fires. Driven by impact, ready to jump into spreadsheets, code editors, or strategy meetings to solve problems. Requirements 3+ years of experience in a technical or operations‑heavy role (e.g., Product Operations, Solutions Engineering, Technology Strategy Consulting, Technical Program Management, or Forward Deployed Engineering). Strong analytical & technical aptitude – able to solve problems with technology. Experience working in a multi‑stakeholder environment, specifically interfacing between Engineering and Commercial/Field teams. Ability to balance big‑picture strategic work (pricing, analysis) with in‑the‑weeds execution (data labeling coordination for RLHF, deployment coordination).
