About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-16:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: RN License Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Cath lab experience Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. 1+ years of experience is acceptable. Two labs are available on the unit. An average of 10 cases are performed daily. The type of equipment includes GE x-ray. The documentation system used is Maclab and Meditech. Scheduler requirements include 7-9 call days monthly, with at least 1 weekend. Patient experience requirements include cath lab experience. Advanced skills needed include knowledge of emergency medications. Procedures performed on the unit include LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP. Scrubs will be provided as part of the required uniform. The facility is well-known for its 24-hour emergency room and Level II Trauma Center.
