Title: W2 Sr. Data Engineer



Location: Onsite ( Covington, KY)

Visa- NO OPT/CPT/TN & H1B

The Role: This Senior Data Engineer role requires 5+ years of technology experience, including at least 3 years developing and deploying data solutions. The primary focus is designing and building a brand-new database, so strong hands-on database design, development, and data modeling experience is essential.

Candidates need extensive SQL experience, including complex queries and stored procedures, along with ETL/ELT experience using Informatica or similar tools. Strong systems analysis, legacy process decomposition, debugging, performance tuning, QA/testing, documentation, and Agile experience are also important.

Candidates must have enough Python experience to read, understand, and perform basic development with existing Python code, although deep Python engineering expertise is not required. Experience building Jenkins pipelines specifically for deploying Python applications and maintaining CI/CD processes is required.

MySQL and Snowflake are preferred, while exposure to data science, AI, or prompt engineering is a plus but not mandatory.

The ideal background demonstrates database design, data modeling, ETL, SQL, Python, and Jenkins across multiple projects.
