Pinnacle Valley Westrock Animal Hospital is currently looking for dedicated, professional team members to join our support staff ( Receptionists, Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, Kennel Assistants ). We are looking for intelligent, self-motivated, dependable people who love animals, to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinic. Pre-Veterinary students are strongly encouraged to apply, and will gain invaluable experience.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are required for all candidates. We cross-train to work in other areas of the clinic. Prior experience is a bonus, but we are willing to train the right person. Bring a recent pay stub, and we will beat your current rate!
Animal care is our top priority. Weekend and Holiday shifts rotate and are mandatory.
Qualifications
- Work ethic and willingness to learn is a must.
- Previous customer service experience desired.
- Previous veterinary technician/assistant, receptionist, and/or kennel experience preferred
- Must be able to work schedule, which includes varied days and times (7-3, 9-6, 7-6), rotate weekends and some holiday work. We pay to fill our busier times.
- Reliable transportation
Skills and Abilities
- Must enjoy and be comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments and breeds, including handling and lifting animals as necessary. Must desire to learn more.
- Professional appearance and positive conduct.
- Punctuality and dependability required!
