Position Summary
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the Feed Hauling truck fleet in Broadway .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on poultry feed trucks to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems

• Handle tire replacement, welding, fabrication, and body repairs is a plus

• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems, conveyor belts, and other specialized equipment used in feed trucks.

• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule repairs and minimize disruptions to feed delivery schedules.

• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.

• Conduct road tests and ensure vehicles meet safety and state inspection standards

• Perform trailer, fifth wheel, and conveyor belt maintenance

• Maintain shop cleanliness, assist with snow removal, and follow all safety procedures

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy vehicle mechanics.

• Ability to work independently with strong attendance and safety awareness

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.

• Exposure to loud noise.

• Frequent bending, lifting and twisting

• Candidate must be dependable and this should be demonstrated by past work history.

Education & Certifications (Preferred)

• High school diploma or GED

• Vocational training in mechanics is preferred.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification) may be required.

Experience

• 2 year of relevant experience preferred
