• $27.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Lorien Columbia , you will provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care that promotes the health, comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents. Working collaboratively with physicians, registered nurses, nursing assistants, and the interdisciplinary care team, you will help ensure residents receive exceptional clinical care in a supportive and resident-centered environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a kind, patient, and empathetic approach while maintaining strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in resident care.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with assessments, documentation, and care planning.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.
• Promote a positive, respectful environment that enhances resident quality of life.

Qualifications

• Full Time, Full-Time Flex, Part Time and PRN
• Schedule: Days, Evenings and Nights
• Every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
• Maryland LPN license, valid and in good standing
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.

Our facility offers a full range of services, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy, and is home to the only Korean nursing unit in Howard County.
