Opportunity

MathCo is partnering with a globally recognized premium haircare and beauty products company headquartered in Europe that is accelerating its growth and market expansion across North America. We are seeking a highly analytical, business-oriented, and client-facing Engagement Manager to help drive AI, data, and analytics transformation initiatives that support the client's continued growth in the U.S. market.

This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, AI, analytics, and digital transformation. The successful candidate will work closely with U.S. and European business leaders, helping translate business priorities into scalable AI and data-driven solutions that improve decision-making across commercial, marketing, customer, supply chain, and retail functions.

The ideal candidate combines strong consulting and stakeholder management capabilities with experience delivering AI, analytics, data science, or digital transformation programs within consumer products, beauty, retail, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Analytics Strategy

• Partner with senior business stakeholders across North America and Europe to identify opportunities where AI, advanced analytics, and data can drive growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
• Help shape and execute the organization's AI and analytics roadmap as it scales operations throughout the U.S.
• Translate strategic business objectives into actionable analytics, data science, and AI use cases.
• Identify opportunities to leverage predictive analytics, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation across the business.

Commercial & Growth Analytics

• Support initiatives focused on accelerating U.S. market growth through data-driven decision making.
• Work with commercial, sales, marketing, and customer teams to improve customer acquisition, retention, pricing, promotion effectiveness, and market performance.
• Develop frameworks to measure business performance, customer engagement, channel effectiveness, and commercial success.
• Drive insight generation that informs strategic investment and growth decisions.

Product Management & Solution Development

• Gather business requirements and translate them into product roadmaps, user stories, and analytics requirements.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, AI specialists, and product teams to design and deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure AI and analytics products align with business priorities and deliver measurable value.
• Support prioritization, adoption planning, and value realization efforts.

Data Science & AI Enablement

• Partner with technical teams to develop and deploy AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions.
• Support use cases spanning customer analytics, demand forecasting, marketing optimization, supply chain intelligence, revenue growth management, and business performance management.
• Define KPIs and success metrics to evaluate solution effectiveness and business impact.
• Ensure insights are actionable, clearly communicated, and embedded into business processes.

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and functional leaders across North America and Europe.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, roadmap discussions, and executive presentations.
• Communicate complex analytical concepts and AI-driven recommendations in business-friendly language.
• Build strong relationships across business, technology, and analytics teams to drive adoption and long-term success.

Program & Engagement Management

• Lead day-to-day execution of strategic AI and analytics initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder alignment, project priorities, risks, timelines, and delivery milestones.
• Track business outcomes and value realization against established goals.
• Identify opportunities to expand the impact of data and AI across the organization.

Required

• 5-7+ years of experience in consulting, analytics, AI, data science, product management, digital transformation, or related fields.
• Experience working with consumer products, beauty, personal care, retail, or omnichannel organizations.
• Strong understanding of how analytics and AI can support commercial growth, customer engagement, and operational excellence.
• Experience translating ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical solutions.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence leaders across business and technical functions.

Preferred

• Experience supporting global organizations with cross-regional stakeholder groups.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, Generative AI, advanced analytics, and modern data platforms.
• Experience working with customer, sales, marketing, eCommerce, supply chain, or consumer insights data.
• Track record of driving adoption of data and analytics products in business environments.
• Exposure to beauty, luxury, consumer goods, or branded consumer products industries is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a client-facing consulting environment.
