Business Analyst - Hybrid

This is a hybrid position based at our beautiful corporate office located in Brentwood, TN, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday. Responsibilities Data Analysis and Development: Drive the day-to-day development of key analysis to support stakeholder objectives, ensuring that insights meet the business needs of Surgery Partners. Collaborate with internal teams (developers and data engineers) to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions. Analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data to identify trends, opportunities and operational performance metrics. Data Modeling And Understanding: Build a deep understanding of underlying data models, inputs, and definitions to ensure accurate analysis and reporting. Work with stakeholders to refine data definitions and establish a consistent approach to data interpretation and usage. Product And Visualization Development: Build understanding of data visualizations, tools, and create reports that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) developers to produce interactive dashboards and other analytical products that align with business needs and are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with end-user requirements. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between the BI team and business stakeholders, understanding their data needs and aligning expectations. Prioritize data requests based on organizational goals and resource availability. Train and support stakeholders in navigating BI reports and tools. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Experience 1 - 3 years of experience in a business analyst or data analyst role, preferably in a healthcare setting. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Proficient in Excel, Familiarity with Sigma, PowerBI, and / or data visualization tools. Basic understanding of data modeling, statistical analysis, and problem-solving techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to a variety of stakeholders.
