What You'll Do

As a Mortgage Loan Originator , you'll build and maintain a strong pipeline of mortgage business while serving as a trusted advisor to members throughout the home financing process.

In this role, you will:

• Develop new mortgage business through community involvement, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
• Build and maintain productive partnerships with Realtors®, builders, financial professionals, and other referral sources.
• Guide members through the mortgage process from application through closing.
• Recommend loan solutions that align with members' financial goals.
• Originate mortgage and real estate secured loans in accordance with First Flight policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure loan files are accurate, complete, and compliant.
• Partner with processors, underwriters, and other internal teams to provide a seamless lending experience.
• Deliver responsive, professional service that earns trust and repeat business.

What You Bring to the Table

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys the challenge of developing business and takes ownership of their results while working as part of a high-performing team.

You bring:

• Three or more years of successful mortgage loan origination experience.
• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding production goals.
• An established network of referral partners and the ability to cultivate new relationships.
• Strong knowledge of residential mortgage products and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
• A proactive approach to business development and a commitment to exceptional member service.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. We place significant value on demonstrated success, strong relationships, and a consistent record of performance.
