Front Desk Patient Representative

Job Description Job Description Looking for a responsible Front Desk Receptionist, FT for busy specialist's office. Must be motivated and possess the ability to multi-task, great people skills and excellent computer knowledge. Duties include but are not limited to: Answering phones; routing appropriate and detailed messages; heavy call volume Scheduling appointments; in-take of appropriate, accurate and detailed data Greet patients and check them in and out; Verifying insurance coverage and reviewing benefits with patients. Record and update all necessary information into EMR, entering demographics. Patient paperwork, chart review and preparation Collecting co-payments, coinsurance and balances Follow-up reminder calls to patients. Compliance with HIPAA regulations Management of the provider schedules, and Other duties as assigned, etc. Professional, friendly, demeanor and appearance required. Bilingual a plus. Must be a team player. Must have excellent references, and reliable transportation.
