IT Support Specialist

Job Title: IT Support Specialist Location: Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 (100% Onsite) Duration: 24+ months contract ( Longer-term assignment with possibility to extend and growth opportunities) Shift: 1st Shift - (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Mon-Fri Pay: $20/hr - $24/hr (Negotiable) Job Description: Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer Note: Must be able to work 1st and 3rd shift. 1st shift hours 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM & 3rd shift hours 6:00 PM - 5:00 AM. Assignment will start 1st shift but during busy season and needs candidate will need to be flexible to work 3rd shift hours as well. To provide onsite deskside Tier 2 support performing the following duties: Primary Duties for this role: - Deploying new computers to replace old ones. - Upgrading to window 11 from 10 - Imaging computers - Disposing of outdated assets - Strong Software skills: PowerShell, python, etc. - On your feet a lot - Must be able to lift 50 pounds - Metatarsal safety boots required first day - Lifting and moving printers Job Requirements: - Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals - Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions. - Knowledge of computer security policies and a general overall knowledge of computer security concepts - Ability to drive locally - 1 year or more IT experience preferred, but recent college graduates will be considered Education Requirements: - Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - High School or secondary diploma or equivalent (YR-R1) #IND2 Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $22 - $24 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
