Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - SNF

Licensed Vocational Nurse Skilled Nursing

Schedule: Day Shift, weekend shifts required.

Assignment Details: Minimum of 1 year of experience required in Skilled Nursing.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
• Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English; additional languages preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; Electronic Health Record experience preferred.
• Current nursing certifications as specified.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Administer medications while adhering to medication rights to minimize errors.
• Document changes in residents' conditions accurately.
• Educate residents and families regarding care and pain management.
• Supervise CNAs and support staff to ensure quality care.
• Participate in the orientation of new personnel.
