As a Primary Stroke Center, DNV Hip and Knee Center of Excellence, and Leapfrog A-rated hospital, it is known for its patient-centered approach, strong clinical quality, and community wellness focus. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for examining, evaluating, and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities or other health and movement-related conditions to determine a diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of treatment intervention, and assess the ongoing effects of intervention. The PT is also responsible for alleviating impairments, functional limitations and disabilities by designing, implementing and modifying treatment interventions. Additional responsibilities include reducing the risk of injury, impairment, functional limitation and disability, as well as promoting and maintaining fitness, health and wellness in populations of all ages. The PT is engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The PT is expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner.
