Job Description Electrolux is looking for an IP Paralegal to become an integral part of the legal team in a stable, highly regarded consumer goods corporation. The position will report to the Senior Associate General Counsel and work with other lawyers in the Legal Department. What you’ll do Assist IP attorneys with day‑to‑day matters for a global trademark portfolio. Prepare and file U.S. trademark applications, including electronic filings, registration, maintenance and renewals. Manage trademark docket for deadlines and understand required actions. Conduct electronic recordation of assignment documents, review Notice of Recordation, and prepare status reports for clients. Comprehend U.S. trademark chain of title to perfect same. Coordinate with foreign counsel on international clearance, filing, maintenance and renewal matters. Conduct trademark clearance searches and prepare non‑legal risk assessments. Assist in preparing and filing trademark oppositions and cancellations; support filing strategy discussions and due diligence. Develop and deliver IP training to internal stakeholders. Manage anti‑counterfeiting activities and online takedowns, coordinating cease‑and‑desist letters with managing IP counsel and business leaders. Prepare and execute IP related agreements (confidentiality, joint development, IP allocation, technology procurement, content acquisition, licensing, settlement) in coordination with managing IP counsel. Prepare and file U.S. copyright applications. Coordinate evidence gathering for copyright, trademark, and patent litigation. Support due diligence for M&A activities. Assist patent prosecution team with docketing and filings. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal studies certificate. 3+ years of experience as a paralegal or similar legal role, preferably in a corporate legal department. Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Additional Qualifications Extensive knowledge of U.S. trademark rules, national laws, and the Paris Convention and Madrid Protocol. Proficient with electronic research tools such as Saegis, USPTO, and WIPO databases, and preliminary trademark searches. Experience with USPTO electronic trademark filing systems and IP docketing systems. Strong organizational, time and deadline management skills. Detail‑oriented, planner, able to prioritize.
