Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Universal Health Services (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum one year monitoring diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology studies experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Micropace knowledge helpful.

Required Credentials:

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required.

Unit Details:

• Cath lab team performs emergency and elective angioplasty and provides therapies such as drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation.
• May help educate staff at McAllen Heart Hospital.

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call approximately 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
