Termite Technician

Responsibilities Identify customer’s termite problems and use knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions Communicate to customers critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and any supplemental structural modifications Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment Complete production forms documenting services provided Interact with customers and explain services provided Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp, and dusty locations Prepare the job site for treatment and enter/exit structures and crawl spaces Climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders, including working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces Work on roofs and high areas as required Perform general labor tasks such as carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic work (experience is a plus) Move frequently, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and work in confined spaces and narrow aisles Qualifications Clean, shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face) High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided) At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Flexibility with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed Licenses or certificates required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by employer) Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals) and ability to follow instructions for mixing products on labels Benefits Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance (full‑time colleagues start enrollment on day one) 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions Paid vacation days, sick days, company‑paid holidays, and floating holidays Work‑life balance support Professional and personal growth opportunities, including multiple avenues for career advancement Training and development programs Tuition reimbursement for full‑time colleagues Equal Opportunity Employer Rentokil is committed to complying with all federal, state, and local laws related to the employment of qualified individuals with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
