Job Description

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab with Electrophysiology (EP) Study and Radiofrequency (RF) Ablation Skills performs advanced imaging procedures within the cardiac catheterization environment. They collaborate with cardiologists and vascular surgeons to execute various invasive cardiovascular studies and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including vascular angiography, angioplasty, arteriography, electrophysiology, and hemodynamic measurements.
• Manage inventory and supply chain to ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
• Maintain equipment functionality by troubleshooting fluoroscopy and ultrasound devices.
• Follow radiation safety protocols, recognize overexposure risks, and implement protective measures.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, including Joint Commission requirements.
• Promote teamwork and excellent patient care by adhering to the AIDET communication framework and providing exceptional service.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Hold valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Possess current state licensure relevant to certification and job duties.
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular imaging and invasive procedures.
• Exhibit strong communication, technical, and critical thinking skills.
