Forklift Operator/Material Handler - Wilmington, NC

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. (In New Century, KS, Lebanon, TN, and Rockford, IL – we do business as: Olathe Millwork, Warren Brothers, River City Millwork respectfully.) Position: We are growing and seeking a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, to include receiving, unloading, and storing material, as well as picking and loading product for our customer orders. Organize, label, and stock building materials in designated warehouse locations Lift heavy products (up to 100 pounds with a helper) repeatedly to store and load onto a truck. Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies Should You Apply? Interest in working for a company that values hard work and loyalty. Experience using a sit-down forklift and with pulling orders. Strong physical stamina – this role requires a lot of physical activity. Experience in warehouse operations, with forklift experience. Must be pass written and driving certification test. Highly organized and self-motivated – you should be a self-starter who doesn’t require constant supervision.
