Career advancement opportunities!The driver’s helper is responsible for assisting the driver in all day-to-day activities. this includes but is not limited to loading and unloading the truck, along with any other duties the driver may need.Essential Functions :Accurately load the daily route onto the truckScan daily route onto the truckAssist driver with navigating to deliveriesAssist driver with carrying freight to a business or residence destinationPerform other duties as assignedSkills/Competencies :Forklift experience a plusAbility to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the areaAbility to lift 75 lbs. unassistedMust possess good customer service skillsEducation :High School or betterSchedule :M-F 8am-5pmPhysical Requirements :This position requires standing and walking for extended periods. Position requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend, and lift objects above their heads. Employees must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds and use pallet jacks and forklifts.
