Job Description Job Title: Clinic Nurse (LPN or RN) Location: Independence, MO Department: Rapid Access Unit - Behavioral Crisis Center Employment Type: Full time (Thursday-Friday with alternating Saturdays 7pm-7am) Job Summary: If you’re passionate about providing meaningful, hands-on care while supporting individuals on their path to recovery, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference overnight. As an Overnight Clinic Nurse (LPN), you’ll join a compassionate, collaborative healthcare team dedicated to promoting safety, dignity, and healing for individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder services. You’ll be trusted to use your clinical skills, empathy, and judgment to support clients during critical hours, build strong relationships, and contribute to a therapeutic environment where people feel supported and respected. In this role, you’ll provide direct nursing care across outpatient psychiatry, addiction treatment, and residential housing services. Responsibilities include medication administration, nursing assessments, documentation, and clinical support services that ensure continuity of care. You’ll serve as a knowledgeable clinical resource for both clients and staff while helping maintain a safe, organized, and responsive clinical environment throughout the overnight shift.
