Responsibilities Administration and management of Wipro LAN & WAN (Network Domain) across the globe as part of the Global Network Project Implementation Team. Implementation and configuration of network devices including routers, switches, NMS tools, and Wi‑Fi devices from various manufacturers (mainly Cisco, Avaya, Brocade). Configure and implement network devices according to hardening guidelines and specific project requirements. Troubleshoot network and security related problems within project scope. Design and deploy network infrastructure for new Offshore Development Centers (ODCs) with appropriate security levels and redundancy. Build network infrastructure for new enterprise projects, ensuring security and redundancy. Implement ODC connectivity using MPLS, client‑to‑site VPN, site‑to‑site VPN (router‑based) and other links. Handle project movements within Wipro locations, including point‑to‑point link establishment and LAN/WAN/Internet architecture. Coordinate with ISP, clients, and onsite technical teams for P2P, MPLS, VPN, and other links, and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Validate technical feasibility of network design plans submitted by the design team and provide recommendations. Apply knowledge of NMS tools, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), MPLS configuration (VRF), switching protocols, STP, QoS, and related technologies. Execute implementations following ISO 20000 & 27001 and Wipro IRMC guidelines, including incident, change, and capacity management procedures. Lead and participate in S0 calls and outage resolution activities. Multitask across multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching. Experience with network device configuration and hardening. Strong troubleshooting skills for network and security issues. Familiarity with MPLS, VPN technologies, and network design validation. Understanding of ISO 20000 & 27001 implementation processes. Experience 3–5 years of relevant experience. CCNP‑equivalent certifications. Approximately 5 years of experience with network engineering and implementation. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $45,000 – $121,000, dependent on location and experience.
