About the Position

Job Title: RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care telemetry hospital experience License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Minimum 1 year current acute care telemetry hospital experience BLS & ACLS certifications Description: This position involves providing care in a telemetry unit. The unit has 33 beds and is staffed with approximately 30 personnel. Patient ratios are typically 5:1, although this is an estimate and not guaranteed. The role requires managing IV drips, administering medications, and monitoring EKGs. Candidates should also be familiar with handling chest tubes and devices such as pacemakers. A positive, compassionate, and flexible attitude is essential for success in this role. Prior experience with specific electronic medical record systems and large trauma facilities is preferred.
