Litigation Legal Evaluator, Part-Time AI Legal Evaluation - Remote (United States)

OpenTrain AI

• $100–$160 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task

• 100% remote

• Part-time

• Fully flexible schedule

Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.

Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the litigation judgment you already have.

The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal professionals. The teams building them need litigation attorneys who can create realistic legal scenarios, judge how well AI handles briefs and arguments, write the answer a strong practitioner would give, and explain exactly where the reasoning falls short. Your judgment helps shape how the next generation of AI handles complex legal work. This is that work, done remotely and asynchronously around your current practice.

What you'll do

• Review AI-generated briefs, arguments and memos for factual and legal accuracy

• Put the model through challenging litigation edge cases and assess whether its legal reasoning is sound and consistent

• Write or revise sample legal passages and arguments using sound litigation practice

• Write clear feedback explaining errors and the improvements needed

Why this is worth your time

• Build real AI skills while earning the equivalent of $100–$160 an hour on top of your current job

• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most litigation attorneys will not have for years

• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping litigation, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change

• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute

Who this is for

• Hold a JD from a U.S. law school accredited by the ABA

• Maintain an active license, in good standing, in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Bring three to fifteen years of legal experience after earning a JD; litigation as a primary practice area is preferred, along with dependable written communication in English

• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.

Pay and details

• $100–$160 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor

• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States

How to apply

  1. Apply on OpenTrain (about two minutes; upload your resume).
  1. Complete a short application on the hiring platform.
  1. If shortlisted, take a short AI interview. Most people hear back within days.
