Technology Teacher

Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Teacher's Certification, Bachelor's Degree or higher with an endorsement in elementary or secondary education.

Essential Duties:

• Create a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
• Establish effective rapport with students.
• Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an educational foundation.
• Instructs students in the proper use, care and safe handling of equipment.
• Provides for safe storage and proper use of materials, equipment and tools
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Observe, assess, and document student performance as required by law and school policy.
• Utilize technology to enhance the curriculum including laboratory/hands-on experiences.
• Maintain the technology inventory in the classroom.
• Establish positive relationships with parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors.
