TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Chanute, Kansas, 66720!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM) Experience: 1 year minimum License: Current RN license required Certifications: AHA BLS required Must-Have: General medical and surgical knowledge Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs Description: RN Med Surg needed for night shifts. Shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM, with 36 hours guaranteed. Weekend rotation is every other weekend. Holiday rotation will be shared with other staff and travelers. Charting will be done using Cerner. The Med-Surg nurse may be required to perform infusions. While the unit primarily cares for adults, pediatric patients may occasionally be admitted. Ratios will typically be 4:1 or 5:1. Candidates should have a strong background in medical and surgical nursing. Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on needs.
