Occupational Therapist (PRN)Upper Valley Medical CenterThe Occupational Therapist plays an integral leadership role within the interdisciplinary care team, helping to guide patient-centered treatment. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans and goals in partnership with patients, and delivering a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.The therapist also provides education and support to patients and their families while coordinating plans for ongoing care. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the therapist contributes to staff development, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement of professional practices. A strong focus on exceptional customer service and collaboration is essential to the success of this role and the overall performance of the department.EducationOccupational Therapy degree from an accredited programLicensure/Certification/RegistrationCurrent Occupational Therapy license in State of Ohio.Current BLS certification required at time of hireExperienceHand Therapy experience preferredPreferred experience: 1-3 years of job related experience.Knowledge/SkillsAble to multi-task with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.Dependable, flexible and adaptable to change.Teamwork oriented.
