Shop Operations Manager - Sprayer

Sprayer TechnicianAssists in coordinating and directing the workload of the assigned Sprayer (ASP) technician team for maximum efficiency and productivity while providing quality repair work. Advises and recommends to the ASP Service Manager skills and training needs for the assigned technicians.Responsibilities:Monitors ASP Service Department metrics monthly to ensure achievement of goalsProvides performance feedback for assigned ASP service technicians to the ASP Service ManagerOversees and directs the ASP technicians in scheduling work and performanceDirects and assists ASP technicians in the diagnosis of machine problemsAssists in the quoting of ASP repair orders coming into the Service Department and reviews repair orders for accuracy and completenessReviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents on work orderMay approve the release of equipment for delivery to the customerOpens work orders as directed by the ASP Service Manager and maintains control until closed and invoicedFields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service DepartmentAttends schooling and seminars as directed by managementPerforms complex diagnostics and repairs on ASP equipmentMay participate in required Service EDUCATE Training programsSupports customer clinicsMay promote and sell dealer service programs directly to customersMaintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive productsMaintains condition of mobile service vehicle, trailer, inventory, tools and equipment, ensuring all are in good working orderMaintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all timesPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements:5+ years experience in Service Department operations, with commercial application equipment experience preferredAbility to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functionsAbility to write and speak effectively to individuals and groupsFamiliar with John Deere and competitive productsBasic understanding of financial principles relative to Service Department operationsAbility to analyze and interpret internal reportsAbility to work extended hours and weekendsExcellent customer service skillsAssociate degree or equivalent experiencePay Range: $32.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits: We offer a competitive wage and benefit package including health, dental, vision, life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance along with paid time off, 401(k), cell phone allowance, safety item reimbursements, AHW branded clothing, and training.
