Registered Nurse - Cardiac Specialty

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac care for a telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population with various cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients in a telemetry setting with a patient to nurse ratio of 4:1.
• Utilize Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo equipment for patient care.
• Provide pre and post-operative care for cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress using Cerner EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac specialty.
• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment preferred.
• Cerner EHR experience is essential.
