Position Overview Procurement Agents Company: The Boeing CompanyThe Seats Operations Dock to Delivery team is looking to hire a 2nd shift supply chain operations procurement agent to support our airplane delivery targets in Renton, Washington and Seattle, Washington. This role proactively identifies and mitigates risks associated with transportation, installation, storage, and rework of seats. The fast‑paced environment requires rapid decision making, clear communication, and the ability to continuously seek solutions without compromising quality and safety. The statement of work includes standard procurement and supply chain management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply/demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Apply SCM methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. Interact with and manage a globally dispersed supplier base. Place purchase orders in SAP/ERP. Expedite parts fulfilment by leveraging available resources (e.g., production stock, customer spares) to meet key airplane milestones. Analyse data to recommend mitigation for potential part shortages (e.g., safety stock). Coordinate with on‑site supplier support teams regarding seat rework. Report status to Seats and Airplane Program leadership. Support program initiatives (site‑consolidation, storage, product protection, join verification, rework impact to seats, safety stock). Track and anticipate production milestones to mitigate risks (seat installation, certification, ticketing, customer activities). Proactively problem‑solve and implement process improvements. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or general business operations. Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher. 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry. Experience with multitasking (handling daily work, urgent emerging issues, and phone call requests). Experience with project/program management. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (10%). Drug‑free workplace testing upon offer and as required by policy. Shift & Hours Shift: 2nd shift (2:00PM – 10:00PM). Typical hours may vary depending on business needs. The position requires spending some days in both Renton and Seattle Delivery centers. Compensation & Benefits Summary pay range: $94,350 – $127,650. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
