Description
American Traveler is hiring a Sleep Technologist for a 16-week night shift contract, requiring 2+ years of polysomnography experience and RPSGT certification.
Details
- Sleep lab setting performing polysomnography and related sleep studies
- 12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage as needed
- Floating required between two sleep labs (Old Orchard and Swedish)
- On-call requirement of two days, or must reside within 30 miles of the facility
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- 2+ years experience performing polysomnography, PAP titration, bilevel PAP, bilevel ST, Inspire, oral appliance therapy, and ASV titration
- Experience with Nihon Kohden PolySmith sleep acquisition system preferred
- Prior independent overnight sleep lab experience preferred
- RPSGT certification and current BLS/CPR required
- License required if applicable
- New graduates will not be considered
- Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with patients and staff
Additional Information
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care through overnight monitoring and sleep study procedures
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Returning permanent or per diem staff must be away for 12 months before being eligible as a traveler
- RTO maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts and 7 days for 13-week contracts
- First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
