Machine Shop Manager

Compensation: $130,000+ base salary plus benefits

About the Opportunity:

This is a key leadership role. You'll take over day-to-day operational responsibility from the current leader, which gives you real ownership and a lasting impact on the business.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in a machine shop environment, including 3+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Background in job shop, repair or precision rotating-equipment work: pumps, turbines, motors, compressors or similar
• Strong working knowledge of manual and CNC machining, horizontal and vertical boring mills, OD/ID grinding, and welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T and close-tolerance specifications
• Proven ability to lead skilled tradespeople and manage competing priorities
• Experience with pump or power generation equipment is a strong plus

This is a management role. It does not involve hands-on machining but does require the machining knowledge.
