Regional Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Elgin, IL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate regional Midwest dry-van lanes based around Chicago and Elgin, running reliable, home-weekly schedules that let you earn on consistent routes while spending time at home.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a CDL-A dry van to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries across Midwest lanes.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate trip records, and communicate with dispatch.
• Protect freight, meet delivery windows, and deliver professional customer service at every stop.
