JOB DESCRIPTION

Role and Responsibilities

Following instructions from mill operators and managers/supervisors
Safely operating a variety of power tools including electric and pneumatic
Ability to safely operate a forklift/Combi lift.
Checking fluids on equipment (forklift/Combi Lift)
Banding and clearing all lines and placing products in storage racks
Fill orders using a pick ticket with an RF scanner.
Ensuring product is damage free and piece counts and color match order.
Assisting in unloading & loading of C/C trucks and will calls as needed.
Following all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Assisting other departments as needed and or directed by a managers/supervisors

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Clean Background
Drug Screen
Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to read, hear, talk, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
Must be able to stand, bend, and/or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift.
Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months.
Noise level is moderate to loud.
