Job Description Newberry Health, a 90-bed acute care, independent, not-for-profit hospital located in beautiful Newberry County, South Carolina, proudly recognized with the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval, seeks a full-time Paramedic to join our exceptional emergency services team. Job Summary The Paramedic is responsible for providing Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) care to critically ill or injured patients and safely transporting them to appropriate medical facilities. This role requires sound clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations. Key Responsibilities Provide emergency medical care, including BLS and ALS interventions, to patients in pre-hospital and transport settings Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment protocols Safely transport patients while continuously monitoring and documenting patient status Communicate effectively with emergency department staff, healthcare providers, and public safety partners Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities Why Join Newberry Health?
