Role Description This full-time, on-site Medical Assistant role is based in Voorhees, NJ. The Medical Assistant supports providers with patient intake, vital signs, and room preparation, ensuring a smooth and efficient visit for every patient. Daily responsibilities include assisting with procedures, preparing and maintaining exam rooms, updating and organizing medical records, and coordinating patient flow in the medical office. The role also involves scheduling follow-up appointments, managing phone calls, and providing clear instructions to patients regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation care. The Medical Assistant collaborates closely with clinical and administrative staff to deliver safe, timely, and compassionate patient care. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including clinical support, vital signs, and basic procedure assistance. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate effectively with providers and accurately document care. Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office setting, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and front-desk coordination. Candidates should possess Patient Care skills focused on empathy, safety, and clear communication with individuals experiencing pain. Candidates should possess Medical Records management skills, including accurate documentation and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR). Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred; relevant clinical experience strongly valued. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work in a fast-paced interventional pain practice.
