Must-Have: Strong skills and experience required. Charge experience preferred. Patient ratio and charting system experience preferred. Travel experience required. Community hospital experience preferred.

Description: This role requires performing nuclear medicine procedures such as nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies. The technician will be responsible for using GE equipment, specifically the SPEC CTG850. Black scrubs are required for this position. On-call coverage will be required twice per week on weekdays and every other weekend. Weekend on-call will be either Saturday or Sunday, not both consecutive days. Weekday on-call coverage is required from 4 PM to 10 PM. Candidates will be required to float within specialty areas and sister facilities. A maximum of seven days off can be requested, with additional time off rules applicable. Compliance documents must be completed five days prior to the start of the contract. Candidates should be comfortable floating within the scope of practice with no restrictions. All former staff must have been away for twelve months before returning as a traveler. Most locations allow for one extension of the contract, after which a six-month break is required. Certifications such as CPI, BLS, ACLS, and specific NRP qualifications are required.
