Overview
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Travel) in Pella, IA. Start date: 10/05/2026. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,143–$2,223 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Work setting: Critical Access Hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and neonatal nursing care in collaboration with the health care team, with emphasis on evidence-based practice, patient safety, and continuity of care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform labor and delivery assessments, assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum procedures as appropriate; support neonatal care as needed.
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions; respond to obstetric emergencies using timely, evidence-based interventions.
- Direct the work of support staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care and appropriate unit workflow.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members; document care accurately and participate in care planning.
- Deliver age-appropriate nursing care across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations as required by the setting.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in Iowa with good standing
- Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS certification required per Education Course Requirements policy
- Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Strong critical thinking, empathetic listening, and teamwork skills
- Basic computer literacy and nursing documentation proficiency

Education and Certifications
- RN licensure: Iowa
- BLS required; ACLS required
- BSN preferred; ADN acceptable
