Job TitleAlpine Silica, a PF Holdings company based in Willow Park, TX, operates advanced facilities in key U.S. oil and gas regions like Haynesville, Eagle Ford, and Permian Basins. It produces frac sand and provides in-basin solutions to enhance efficiency for top oil and gas producers.Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the plant's business goals and objectives.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform highly diversified duties to maintain plant equipmentProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilitiesUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing dutiesParticipate in the maintenance On-Call system with qualified Technician.Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situation to proper supervisionComply with MSHA regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasOther duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceA minimum of (1) or more years of experience maintain heavy equipment, preferably in a sand mining plant.High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experienceAssociate degree or technical school equivalent preferredWelder certification preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust be able to perform duties in a safe mannerMust have strong welding hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills and experience.Must be able to work 8-16 hour shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as neededStrong communication skillsWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsAll duties require outside assignments and require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry and dustySafety-sensitivity positionAbility to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, stoop, squat, tolerate prolonged standing/walking, balance, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, push and pull objectsAbility to operate hand controls with both handsAbility to operate mobile equipment, foot pedals with both feetAbility to perform sustained overhead reachingAbility to work in cramped quartersAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 150 feetAbility to tolerate working at heights up to 150 feetThis job description should not be interpreted as an exhaustive list of responsibilities or as an employment agreement between the employer and employee.
