Job Details

• Location: Danville, VA
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to work as an RN in Virginia; Certifications including ACLS, BLS; 1-2 years of ICU and CCU experience; Candidates must have 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in progressive care or telemetry units preferred.
• Additional Information: This position involves working on a blended telemetry and PCU unit with patient ratios of 4:1 for PCU and 6:1 for TELE, occasionally managing mixed patient sets at a 5:1 ratio. The unit serves patients of all ages with diagnoses including respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, STEMI, stroke, and multi-organ failure. Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly on Tuesdays, and on-site training for certain certifications is provided. The role requires consent for drug screening and completion of a criminal questionnaire/consent form.
