Qualifications:

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Board-Certified Physical Therapy NJ license or eligibility for licensure is required
• Current CPR certification
• Exercise, sports and neuro rehab, and manual-based skills
• Outgoing and energetic personality

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Write and send clinical documents, including initial evaluations, progress reports, plans of care, recertification reports, and re-examination reports, within the time frame set by office policy.
• Maintain compliance with standards and procedures established by Medicare and private insurance companies.
• Keep clinical notes up-to-date, accurate, and completed within the designated time frame outlined by office policy.
• Exhibit proper etiquette and manners that reflect appropriate healthcare behavioral standards. Show kindness, empathy, and a high level of care to every patient who enters the clinic.
• Provide exceptional one-on-one patient care with a focus on outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Help manage and optimize patient volume through proactive communication and scheduling coordination.
• Participate in community outreach and basic marketing efforts to promote the practice and profession.
• Contribute to the positive, growth-oriented culture of the practice.
• Collaborate with the team on strategies to improve patient retention and attract new patients.
• Communicate with patients to encourage their commitment to the plan of care.
• Utilize effective time management skills to maximize time spent with patients.
• Foster a collegial and supportive relationship with colleagues.
• Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues through in-house education.
• Assist with clinical affiliations for students from physical therapy graduate programs.
