School Security Officer
The Millstone Township School District is seeking a qualified School Security Officer. The School Security Officer plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications:
- Retired law enforcement in good standing after 25 years of service
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of New Jersey permit to carry a handgun
- Must possess and maintain a New Jersey Armed SORA Certification
- Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of digital surveillance systems preferred
- Obtained Tactical Response Training
Performance Responsibilities:
- Campus patrol and access control
- Emergency response and crisis preparedness
- Surveillance & system operations
- Student relations & culture
- Policy enforcement and incident reporting
