Speech Therapist (SLP) - Day Shift - 5x8 Hours

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM, every third weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist (SLP) to provide quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating patients with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) and possess strong assessment and communication skills. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide appropriate treatment plans for patients.
• Utilize various communication devices and strategies to enhance patient communication.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment processes and necessary exercises.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience; 3 years preferred.
• Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with acute care and adult rehabilitation is preferred.
