Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students from pre-school through 8th grade across five schools in a vibrant community. You'll be an integral part of a holistic therapy team, sharing a manageable caseload of approximately 65 students with an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT), who will also provide supportive supervision. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) passionate about enriching student lives and helping each child reach their potential in an educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

• COTA licensure in the state and credentials to work in schools
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school environment is highly preferred
• Comfortable working with students from early childhood through middle school
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel between multiple sites within the district

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed OT
• Support students with a variety of needs to participate fully in classroom and school activities
• Implement individualized therapy plans as directed
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Adapt activities and modify materials to address students’ developmental and educational needs

This full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) runs from July 30th, 2026 through May 28th, 2027, with possible extension for ESY if needed. The district-wide setting offers the chance to connect with learners of different ages and backgrounds while being part of a supportive inter-agency therapy team.
