1st Shift CNC Swiss Machinist

Location: Placentia, CA

Shift: 1st Shift

We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to join a growing precision machining team serving the aerospace industry. This is a hands-on position responsible for machine setups, operation, troubleshooting, and producing high-quality precision components.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines
Perform offsets and tool changes
Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment
Maintain tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections
Troubleshoot machining issues to maximize production and quality
Work closely with Quality and Engineering to ensure parts meet specifications

Qualifications:

Experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss machines preferred
Candidates with strong CNC lathe setup experience who are looking to transition into Swiss machining are encouraged to apply—training will be provided for the right individual.
Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Experience with precision measuring instruments
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Stable work history and a positive attitude
