Position: CDL-A Local Driver (Arizona)
R-2 Contractors is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL-A Driver to support construction operations throughout Arizona. This is a local driving position , allowing drivers to be home regularly while playing a key role in transporting heavy equipment and materials to project sites across the region.
What You'll Do

• Safely transport heavy construction equipment and materials to and from Arizona job sites.
• Operate a variety of CDL-class vehicles, including lowboy trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy-haul equipment.
• Assist field crews as needed at project locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
• Load, secure, and transport equipment in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and transportation requirements.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Experience hauling and securing heavy construction equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material-handling equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Compensation & Benefits

• $22-$32 per hour , DOE.
• Paid Time Off (PTO)
• Employer paid for- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance for the entire family.

• 5-Year Employment Appreciation Bonus.-$25K

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday - Friday
• Occasional schedule flexibility based on project demands.
